Animal model of induced experimental uterine disease.

A new paper from the lab describes an experimental model of induced uterine disease in dairy cows. In collaboration with Dr Martin Sheldon in Swansea, we believe that this new model will allow us to isolate the negative reproductive consequences of uterine infection from other significant events occurring during the postpartum period that could affect fertility. This latest publication lead by Rachel Piersanti is published in the Journal of Dairy Science and can be found here.
